Handbuilt Bike Show Reception Friday Night 6:00 PM
03/12/14 at 10:43pm
Print Post
Sponsored by First Flight Bikes, IMBA and the Tarheel Trailblazers

Hosted by and at the Museum of Mountain Bike Art and Technology

at 216 S. Center St.  Statesville, NC   (704)878-9683

Come on up to Statesville and see one of the world's best collections of mountain bikes, rub elbows with some of the worlds best bike builders and bend an elbow or two while you're at it.

This will be perhaps your best opportunity to see and discuss the evolution of mountain bike design with local and national experts. It will be the place to be after the opening day at the North American Handbuilt Bike Show being held all weekend at the Charlotte Convention Center.

Of course Jeff and Wes are hosting and they tell me there wil be some fine Club Ranger for tasting!

Be there!

We've been working hard to get a few of the HAHBS exhibitors to come up to the shop on Friday night.  The TTB/IMBA folks have kicking in for a keg of Ranger which will need to be drained!  Com on up and check out our collection of 450 vintage bicycles.  If you want to get a taste, check out the MOMBAT.org web site.

Hope to see you Friday

Can't wait - love the museum! I always see something different no matter how many times I go upstairs there!

That was a great weekend!  We ended up having a bunch of visitors from the show:
-Steve Potts
-3 guys from Shimano Japan
-Chris King (bought dinner for about 25 of us on Saturday night)
-Curtis Inglis
-Oscar from Simple Cycle
-Jay and Jeremy Sycip
-ANT Bike Mike
-Kent Eriksen
-Paul Price
-Paul Brodie
-4 from a Japanese bike shop
-Goy (big Philippine shop and importer)
plus all the folks who traveled with them.

Thanks to the TTB/IMBA for the keg.  It was good to the last drop.
