My son and I came up from Florida, and although we only had 2 days of riding, I wanted to say how awesome your trails are!!! We rode Sherman Branch, Fisher Farms and Lake Norman(Hawk, Norwood, Hicks Creek, Monbo and part of Laurel). The trails are kept in great shape and are a blast to ride. Thanks to all the volunteers for maintaining them, keep up the good work!!!! I can't wait to come back later in the year, hopefully the weather will cooperate better.

Glad you had a good time - and great point about the trail selection here.

Been riding the local trails for nearly 25 years and have seen the  network grow drastically.  Love that we have so many options that I sometimes have a hard time choosing where to ride!

I travel some for work and always try to check out trails in other areas and am shocked to find some larger cities with only 1 or 2 trails to choose from.  Don't take the trails for granted!

The Trailblazers do a fantastic job of working with P&R and others to continue to expand the trail network while maintaining a great selection of trails!

We really started gaining some steam around 2002/2003.  Ironically that's the same time that the survey work was starting at Catawba and Reni was about to loose some mileage after the demolition of the coliseum.  I started layout at Fisher in mid 2003 and broke ground in the Fall of 2014.  Then came Sherman Branch, Jetton, Harrisburg, the rest of LNSP, etc.
