We will be re-working the dam crossing, replacing the "north-shore" turn and adding some turfblock to the approaches and departures to all the ground bridging on the section below the dam. Need lots of hands!

Meet 9 am @ paddleboat parking (Lake point pavillion). Glove h20 shovels and wheelbarrows a plus. We will be having dirt/crush brought in and will have a couple walk-behinds and the Atv running.

Please post up if you can make it, so we can plan for tools, crew leaders etc. thx!!!

Can't make this one.( 6 hours Warrior Creek) But I wish I could.  What are you replacing the North Shore turn with?  Dirt or Wood?  Ill get out there next time!

Count me in on April 5th. I'm in favor of replacing the cedar berm, but will miss the rush I get thinking the wood is about to collapse each time I approach, then hit and round the berm. Looking forward to meeting all that attend.

GT, I was running there yesterday (dodging all the folks riding while it was listed as closed Angry), and I noticed as I was running up the "Diva berm" section before the turtle pond that there was a lot of flagging between the existing trail and the neighborhood.  Is this going to be some additional trail in the future?

No new trail planned for there, but we did get permission to build our pump trail! Game on. The flagging you saw is likely just Beatty neighborhood shenanigans.

Looking good for this workday. So far I'm expecting about 6 people based on the rsvps (feel free to bring a friend though). Blue max dropped off some course gravel and crush today, Bryan is bringing doughnuts, and Carolinas Landscape is bringing us a couple loads of dirt and two walk-behinds with operators!
