Rob, glad to see you back out today I'm sure you're the only one that has hit the rock drop. The soft dirt is covering a pile of rocks I had to use to fill in the spot where we had to move a huge rock. When it rains I will have to add more dirt as it moves down securing the loose rocks. The problem with this type of feature is a lot of time (most moving the huge rock that was in the way) put into a feature that doesn't get much use. Also only ten or fifteen have ridden since you rode it the first time. I will work to add more like this for those that do want it. Alan and I put a ground bridge down on the bog that had formed after the long skinny below the little pond.

The trail just keeps getting better and better.  The new technical rock drop thing is very reminiscent of PTent.  Although I went back and looked and I only saw 2 tire tracks in the softish landing.  Given I hit it yesterday and again this morning leads me to believe I am the only one enjoying the addition so far.  Cool Cool

pics or it didnt happen

It really isn't anything exciting to look at.  It reminds me a lot of the "Round Rock" at PTent, although I am not sure if you could truly roll it.  The drop itself can't be more than 1-2'.  The interesting thing is the hard left turn into it, a few rocks to go over as an approach and the rock itself is covered in green moss and tapers off to both sides pretty steeply so you want to have your approach speed before you get "on" the rock.
