Finally got back out to my favorite area trail since about 1993.  The trail has never been better.  Still miss the last Carpet downhill, but the new improvements are killer.  This trail just flows and at high speeds. Great work!

Just wait until the Freeride park opens out on the island past the Pumphouse.

I get 21.3 for everything, which seems to correspond with Lee's map + the Thread trail.

I also just recently calibrated my speed sensor so it should be close.

That is a lot of mileage.  Maybe they could add a beer station along the river?  Id say either at the bottom of Carpet or Goat?  I am sure the SUP and Kayakers would use it too.   Cool

Is that a possibility?  I had mentioned that to Lee and many others out there several years ago and was told there would be no way in hell that would happen.

What are the chances of the trails opening today?

They said the same thing when folks suggested adding TTFs at FJB, now look at the place.

The work done last week on Tower 93 is great. Its so much faster. Now I don't have to lock up the brakes on that last berm.

I found and rode the Tower 93 loop Saturday and am in love again.  It will be even better with each new run, because I should have dialed it in even more.  Thanks to those behind this new option.  I think there is not yet a sign along the main loop at its entrance.  I nearly missed the turn.

That's because the club has an excellent working relationship with the land manager, Mecklenburg P&R.  Same goes for BYT.

The club has nothing to do with the WWC trails, anymore. They're self managed.
