Just a heads up the swinging bridge on the Mill Pond trail has a bad support cable.
The boards are loose and shift so use caution when crossing.

I rode there yesterday, and I would say that it was as lose as normal.  There was only on time about 4 -5 years ago that it was so bad that you had to walk it.  But as always, cross with caution.

The cable on the stream side is the one that is loose. There were several boards last night that had gaps of 3~4 ". This same thing happened a few years back to the support cable on the other side failed. If you go there today you will see the stream side has dropped about 6 inches. I don't know what time you rode yesterday, I rode it last night.

Please give the folks at Anne Springs a call and let them know the condition of the bridge so they can attend to it.

Thanks!

I called Josh and let him know about the bridge. They have a guy come out yearly to tighten up the cables. It requires special tools and Springs does not have them.
