How early in the morning can one start riding at Sheman Branch? I read in the trails section that the gates close at sunset. When do they open?

I've been lucky to have seen them open as early as about 7-7:30am a couple times so I'm not sure how consistent that is.... Ive been there at times also around those times and have been turned around and just drove down the road to RRT...  RRT is always an option if sherman is not opened yet.... it's literally about anoter 5-10mins down the road.

I've gotten there at 6:15 in the summer before. I don't know about this time of the year.

Thanks!

Which way do I head if I want to go to RRT?

The entrance is the dirt road at the A and B markers. Parking is on the left once you enter. The trail entrance is just up the road on the left and if you are a nice cyclist there is a donation box you can drop a couple bucks in for the trail maintenance overheads and insurance cost.

Please do drop a few dollars off. If you knew the quality of the person & his efforts to provide such an awesome trail experience (on his own private land) you would know how worth his simple request is.
