The part that I find fascinating is that with the exception of the Booty Loop, all of the mountain bike trails have a more pronounced heat signature than any of the road biking.  Smiley

What's the criteria for the heat signature?

It makes sense that mtb trails show a higher heat sig. The traffic and flow is more condensed so theres less deviation from a path or route where a roadbike can switch a route whenever.

I think the heat signature is cool.  I can actually trace a path from my driveway to the rest of a road route I do!  I still just use the free version but a couple of friends who use premium really like it.   

For running I have been using Gipis.
