Rocky River in great shape

Rocky River was in great shape yesterday.  It's amazing how quick it dries.  Even the wet bypasses are in great shape.  If you haven't been there, I suggest you make the trip.  Less than 10 minutes away from Sherman.

BTW, Steve, the small fallen tree in the section between River Climb and Gorge where there is a somewhat abrupt boulder you have to step up.  You cut a path for the trail, but I think you may need to cut it back a bit more off the trail.  I hit the boulder and caught my handlebar on the remaining cut section of the tree and it forced me off the trail there.

Agree, trail is in good shape, many thanks for the bridge work over some of the wet spots

I don't understand why I don't see more people out there.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

The good news is, that sign is on the easiest climb  Cool

I will be riding there this weekend I am sure.  Looking forward to see what new goodies Steve has unleashed.

Based on my strava rankings Gorge is the toughest for me or either that's just relative to others.  The initial steep part up to the "This Ain't Sherman" sign is pretty easy, but it drags out for me and the final punch up to the clearing is tough for me.  Stairway is kind of the same deal for me.

I don't think it is on the easiest one.  I really like having the new bridge where the skinny was right past the second wet bypass.  The place just keeps improving.  Dries really fast also.

I've ridden rrt twice this week and 4 times this month. I love this trail more everytime I ride it and def feel like I've accomplished something when I make all the climbs. The baby bottle added below the this ain't Sherman sign def made me laugh. Trail is awesome Steve, keep up the good work!

I want to thank everyone for the compliments about RRT.

Seems that I'll have to add a few more short bridges across some of the spots that normally do not stay wet this long. Also will lengthen some of the ones that I've recently put in. It's a continuing process but I remember the first few years at Sherman were the same. No new features for you Rob at least not today. Sager I'll check out that tree tomorrow.

There will be a new piece between Kamakazi and stairway early summer. I have to build some bridges and do benching, the corridor has been cleared for a couple months.
