BYT NO PARKING AT PLANT BACK GATE!

Plant manager is going to put up signs next week and if you park at there back gate across from MD you will get towed! He called me this afternoon about this. This is your last warning. He means business. They will also be checking several times a day to see if anyone is parking at the back gate. If you plan on going to work on the trail you can pm me and I will get permission to park and walk in. This starts next week tell your friends. Look at the main gate going into the plant. He has had several people towed away on the PRP side. This is your last warning, let the towing begin.

I'm probably going there tomorrow afternoon around 2 or 3pm. I've only been there once last year and I parked at the Marion Diehl parking lot. Is that still the best place to park? 

Also, does anyone have a link to a trail map? I remember getting a little mixed up when I went before.

Yes park at MD parking lot. Send me your email. I have a map that is somewhat current. We have added trail but old map has not been updated. Red arrows blue square bottom right. If you see 2 blue squares top right bottom right follow those 2 way trail or an intersection.

Here is a map of the Farmbrook and Marion Diehl sides of BYT.  I haven't ridden PRP yet but when I do I will Strava my ride and add it to the MTBProject website.

No warnings, just tow. Can't fix stupid. Just as now and then someone parks at the TH entrance. To fricken lazy to park at MD and ride across the street. probably the same people who remove obstacles, go around the mud and make shortcuts to avoid the hard stuff. Smiley

This.  Cars start getting towed, I think it will stop pretty fast.

is there marked parking for BYT, or 'do not park' signage up at trailhead yet?

i've only been 2wice and both times were with others who met up at MD Center to park.  i think someone who's never been, but goes on word of mouth may be real upset to return to a missing/towed vehicle.  tow fines and costs are unreal these days.

signs at the trailhead are a great idea, but it's not the trailhead thats the problem its the gate

nothing about this picture says "hey dudes public parking here, come on in"

Sign is up at trailhead. We try to let people know not to park at trailhead. Would you won't 30 cars in your front yard? The people that live at the trailhead have been very nice to us and I talk to them often. They know when we park it's to work. Left plant manager a message to see if he got signs up nothing back yet.
