Over the past month or so the folks at RRT have been busy touching things up. Some of the stuff they have been doing is very reminiscent of Poplar Tent. Making use of the terrain and rocks to add some technicality. Here is the first rock option on the first "Downhill to the River" which is probably my favorite section of trail in Charlotte right now.
The entrance

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) With a little clean up of the area between where I was standing for the picture and the rock it would make for a cleaner look at a landing zone to drop off the higher side, or even use the front of the rock as a launch. It has a nice smooth transition and you can carry some speed.
The second one is after you climb the "River Climb" and are descending/traversing your way down to where the "Gorge Climb Starts"
The entrance sneaks up on you, it is a hard left. It helps when you know when it is coming because you want to keep some speed

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) The landing, I am not sure if it is rollable or not, I have always dropped it

Thanks again to Steve and his crew for making the trail better almost every day.
