I know it's not in NC...but I rode it today with my wife for the first time.  Granted it's mostly coasting downhill n not gnarly sidetrack, but it was still a really cool way to spend part of the day in the saddle enjoying cool scenery.

Anyone else rode it.?  Thoughts.  Opinions

We have a group that rents two houses and goes to the CREEPER every year.  It's fun.
For riding, the group splits into two groups and one group pedals up to Whitetop (from Damascus) and meets the "shuttled" group to all ride down together (best as possible). We always stop at the restaurant on the way down for a burger and chocolate cake......then a few drinks and a cookout late afternoon.
For the second day the "experienced group" rides the IRON MOUNTAIN Mtn. bike trail which is across the mountain from the Creeper. It's about a 14 mile advanced trail and ends near DOTTIES bar in Damascus.  I repeat....advanced.  I have an old magazine article if anyone is interested.  Glad you guys had a great trip.... and perfect weather.
