Sweco 480 or similar available to borrow/rent

This coming Saturday June 7th we have a trail work day set at Riverwalk down in Rock Hill.  Myself and others have worked hard at flagging out some new trails, and we are going to cut them in then.  Does anyone know where we could rent/borrow a Sweco 480 or similar dozer for our work day?

Thanks,

Justin

Sunbelt Rentals usually have Toro Dingos for rent.  You do realize how big a Sweco 480 is, right? Seems an awfully big machine to build some SC single track. Wink

Yeah, sorry, the 480 is the bigger one.  There is a walk behind that I am hoping to find.  If anyone has anything please let me know.  I checked Sunbelt and everything was pretty large.  I did find something at the Home Depot in SC.  Might just get that.  Always nicer to borrow one than to spend $$ on renting one.  I can tow it from wherever if someone has one.

Thanks,

Justin

This place is in SC obviously, but my dad and I have rented stuff from them before and there equipment was always well maintained they had competitive prices, and awesome customer service.

I called them this morning just to see what they have  Ihi 28j and a tachahuchi that is similar to it available?

That'll work!  For building a greenway...  I seem to remember Sunbelt having a small Toro Dingo which would be the perfect size for what you are doing.  BTW what do you need heavy machines for?  I can usually slave drive a dozen volunteers to build a lot of trail by hand. Wink

I am investigating what the options were.  We can get a lot more trail done if we have the machine, but hard work will get it done too.
