ok?  not really sure where this is coming from?

i list a place with progressive features, he asks where, i tell him i can show him (assuming he is unfamiliar with trail), he says he knows the trail, i don't know how to help him, then i don't get it?

yeah i understand we all want more options but i was just trying to show a place that already offered what you were asking for.  what don't i get?

Point here is to have features for ALL levels in just one place. Like a skills section. I understand there are trails with smaller features and then BYT of course which is like a dream for somebody experienced. I do ride it as well as WWC and get stoked but I have friends that are just getting started and would appreciate something like this. Heck, me too. Let's say that while they hit the 2-4 drops I'd be tearing up the 6-8 stuff. Just a matter of convenience having everything in one trail.

Needless to say, I will be hitting all the trails in the area but still have the option to go practice at a more specific level.

Are any of you willing to put in time either working on existing trails or are you looking for your own slice of property to do this on. Come to a club meeting and get this going. Lots of people talk but are not willing to put in the time to get this going. So here is your chance!

Great! We all sure appreciate the effort. I will attend the next club meeting to discuss this and offer support.

Sounds like something good for the WWC to take on. While we are on the subject of building things. The grade separation project of CSX and Norfolk Southern Railway has been canceled. This is right under 277 next to the ADM mill. At one time we were discussing building under I-277. Any more discussion on this? It is difficult for me to make the monthly meetings

No, not that I've ever heard since it was assumed to be dead. Maybe it could be resurrected.

You have to think about liability when making drops and jumps. Do you remember Stuntersville a few years ago? They were building some neat stuff there, but not sure what happened. It got closed down before it was completed.

We started talking about progressively higher drops and now we are talking jumps?

Have you been to the WWC recently?  There are 2 sets of jumps.
One is on the new(er) jump trail that is located near the top of the Wedge trail.  You can also access it off of the main powerline cut starting at sign #93.  That line is very begginer friendly as there really isn't a penalty for coming up short on any of the jumps.  The first and second step downs are really fun and then it flows into a few (3 I think) smaller tables.
The second is the old DS course near the toilet bowl loop has been some what recently redone.  There are a few doubles there that are a decent size.

I keep hearing different things about those jumps, how big are they really? When you say decent size do you mean like 20'-30' or like 5-10'? I don't want to pay for parking only to find a bunch of totally unkept 5' table tops.

They are NOT 20' jumps.  Go to UNCC if that's what you are looking for.

It is not cancelled, just re-prioritized and delayed, but not by that much. It is a mandatory project for the future Gateway Station and the future Red Line commuter rail. However once its done there may still be some available space around there, I'm not sure.
