This Thursday night we will ride the whitewater center,  come on out ride drink beer and listen to music.,  meet by the restroom by the trail head at 6:30 pm.

Yes, this is a recurring ride.  Keep an eye on the WWC trail status.  That will determine if the ride is on for the week or not.

It depends on trail status at the WWC.  As of right now, trails are open.  Radar isn't looking very promising, though.

Yup.  We meet near the restrooms next to the parking lot.  Anyone that wants to ride is welcome to join us.  When we finish we check out the live music and partake in festivities.

I've not ridden at WWC before. How long do you ride for and at what pace? I'm really out of shape so don't want to be holding anyone up if this is going to be anything but a social no-one left behind pace.

Is there a lot of elevation change? Are there any places to bail out if I find it too difficult?  Embarrassed

This is a social ride so anyone should feel free to come out.   

WWC has a fair amount of elevation (for Charlotte) but their are bail out points along the trail for sure.  You don't have to ride everything either.  Optional loops.

Yup.  They are near the parking lot to the left when you come in the main WWC entrance.  It is also where all the runners gather before taking off  for their run.

Just left a customer so will miss the ride again. I think I should look at doing morning rides because these afternoon ones just don't work out with my schedule.

WWC was hard-but awesome, kicked my butt first time out! Thanks Greg and Tom for hanging back with me and guiding me through the trail, and also pushing me at the end!
