RRT condition

had 2" of rain in a hard downpour Friday evening and an additional 1/16" Saturday. Trail is less than ideal as it was quite a scouring. Roots will be slick and likely to be a tree or two down as well as face slappers aplenty. Caution wet/damp bridges are subject to being slick

It's in good shape now.  No need to even take the wet bypasses.

I rode Monday night and it was perfect.  If it hasn't rained there since I'd say it is probably getting dusty.

Steve,

Thinking about riding out there tomorrow.  Looks like the storms might be missing you.  If you check in do you mind letting us know what it's looking like?  South Charlotte got pounded.

Looks like there may have been 1/2" but I'm not able to actually check it. So my guess is that it' may be a little wet this morning and better as the day goes on. The rain must of came in after about 8:00 pm.

Rode this morning.  Trail was in good shape.  Man that place drains well!  Even rode the new unfinished section which is big fun.  Very, very nice work.  Thank you Steve.  The community is really lucky to have another great trail.

Kenny appreciate the information and location I'll get it Saturday morning. I cut one out in that area earlier this week.

Kitbbqman, I took care of the spot we discussed this afternoon.

Thanks to all that ride RRT.

It was near perfect around 11 today.  Even if this light rain continues I wouldnt expect any puddling on the trail, it might even help make the conditions better.

Yep. Started at about 1 while it was raining. What did get through the canopy just made the trail grippy and sick. Thanks for getting those trees too Steve. Awesome ride today. Cool temps added to the fun factor.

How is the trail looking today? Did yesterdays rain help or hurt the trail?

I live pretty close.  I'd bet the trail is in great shape, as it was yesterday.  We didnt get much more than a sprinkle or 2 on this side of town.  I will probably head out there later this morning.  I am hoping more than 1 person hits the trail before me.  I had too many spider web encounters yesterday.

What little rain we had did not hurt it any. Looks like another day same as yesterday far as the weather goes. Far as I know there aren't any trees down.
