Anyone been out there today? I know they got a lot of rain friday but seems odd it's the only trail still showing closed.

Almost never is the trail status wrong.  I read somewhere they it got 2" at once this weekend.  Rocky River is open and only a couple of minutes away.

Yeah, but a lot of other trails got hit Friday night too and sherman being one of the better draining trails figured it was worth checking.

Would be the first time I've seen Sherman the only CLT trail closed, with the "sand issue" and all
.  if the website is wrong someone please post up...could use some Sherman today.

I wouldn't say Sherman is one of the better draining trails.  It's about average.

I live fairly close to Shermans and we had a good shower hit pre-dawn Sunday morning, so that certainly didn't help after the heavy Friday rains.  While unusual for it to be the last to open, its probably needed the extra time to dry.

Got to ride SB today.  Trails are in great shape!  You can tell it did just recently dry up though for several of the puddles.  There were turtles EVERYWHERE today.  I had to dodge 5 of them.
