I'll go first;

Just fix it with a fortune cookie wrapper and some gum.

I was terrified that this would happen to me also, I am on the heavy side and sometimes lack finesse (mostly always).  My Enve's have held up great.

Looks to me you might have landed on something pretty hard.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt.

@ beatty. Jra, swerved a bit off line to avoid an offleash dog. Popped up and over a 2 inch thick root. Bam! PLENTY of air in the tire to protect it. Given the way I usually ride, might as well have been on the greenway.

Sorry to see and hear of your bad luck.

How long where you riding these rims before this happened?  Just curious, not trying to defend the rims.

There is a carbon shop in Harrisburg on HWY 49 that you should have take a look at it. They have repaired 2 frames for me at a fraction of what others quoted me.
