There was a time when disagreeing, truth and facts was looked down upon.  I am glad to see times are changing.

They were never looked down upon, jcam.  Some of the forum users (who are now banned) weren't agreeing to disagree and wanted their viewpoint to "win". Tongue

That's why you and Pagan can still post on here but some others can't.  Smiley

So, in a sense, you took your ball and went home.

As for signs, I'VE seen some plastic ones out at the defunct trail in Huntersville that seemed to hold up really well.  Possibly a bit expensive though.

No, not really.  Many of us just got tired of keyboard jockeys and interwebz bullying.  When all you get in a conversation is "no, you're wrong and I'm right" or "It's a public forum and I can say what I want" or posting stuff only to troll, flame or ridicule this club and/or it's members, it gets old after awhile.  If "they" ("they" know who they are) want to design, build, repair and maintain a trail they way they want to then go do it.  Don't sit on our forum and constantly criticize us for not doing it the way you think it should be done.

Like we've always said if you want a voice in what get's built, get involved.  Don't get mad and "take your ball and go home."

With signs, go metal or go home.  Plastic ones are too easy to vandalize.
