WTB Large 29er hardtail

Anyone have a large 29er hardtail they are looking to sell?  A friend of mine is looking to buy soon.  His budget is around 1K.  Let me know if you have something better than entry level in that range.  Thanks!

Height of the rider? I have a friend selling  a low milage scott xl, fox factory(kashima) 32, shimano brakes, new specialized tires gc/captain, and a 1x10 drivetrain with raceface n/w and zee shortcage cluch mech for $1100.

I believe he is either 5'11" or right at 6'.  As far as SS no, unless it can be converted to geared, the maybe.  He also wants to be able to pull his kid around the neighborhood and greenways so he might need gears.
