Sorry this is non-bike related but I saw the Toyota wheels for sale and I thought it was worth a shot. Long story short my wife drives a Jeep Wrangler on her daily commute and she spends $120 a week in gas. I am looking to buy a reliable commuter car for her and I have cash. Definitely has to be 4 cyl, preferably import, and bike rack would be handy!  I thought I would throw this out to the THTB population, anyone have a car they are looking to sell? $4-$5000 range? Thanks

I have a 2001 VW Jetta wagon that I may consider parting with.

Just over 100k miles.  4 cylinder, auto.  Pretty good condition...It doesn't get driven during the week...strictly the bike trip car.

I've been toying with the idea of selling it just due to how little use it gets...but haven't really thought of what would be worth it.

Honestly though, it may not be that much of an improvement on gas mileage.  It gets roughly 25mpg.
