Root cutting is always much easier when they are soft. Cheesy

Not speaking of any trails in particular, AS FOR ME, roots that are part of the challenge are OK/good.  Otherwise they are a nuisance, especially after riding the trail over, over and over.  I also do not like dodging the small (1-2 inch diameter) tree stumps that the some builders decided to leave ........these are old school.
One of my favorite rooty areas was at POPULAR TENT near the gravel pit.....you had to hop up a 2 ft rooty bank and go over a solid maze of sizable roots, at different angles, for 40 feet.   Loved that loop.

Once you crossed the rooty section the rest of that loop was smooth and fast with berms.  Poplar had a good mix of everything.  I miss that place.   Embarrassed
