Anyone have any recommendations on who is a good go to for this? I have a aluminum frame I am looking to get painted or powdercoated depending on what is best. Thanks!

Powder Coat for sure.  I've used Drakes before but I wouldn't recommend.  Seems like Hot Box in Charlotte gets pretty good reviews.  Remember if you powder coat you will probably have to reface the bottom bracket and chase the threads with a tap.

I've used "Diversified Finishers" in Statesville 4 or 5 times now & they've always done a great job.  Usually only $75 0r $80 for a hard tail too.

I think Shredder had his spearfish done there.  He probably could give some input.

Threads and bores can be masked off.  No machining or tapping should be necessary.

Chad, Tim at R&R Powder in Dallas NC does pretty much all of our work related stuff. Do a lot of business with them and they have always treated me right. Also powdered my chassis and body panels for my ultra4.

Not quite an answer to the OP but has anyone tried plasti-dip on their bike frame? My coworker just did his car wheels and they look kinda cool. He said it was real easy to apply.

I was wondering the same thing...its super cheap and would look great!  I've definitely considered it!
