I was going to say something like that but it seemed like it might be rubbing salt in your wounds so to speak. Smiley

Sorry this happened. Major bummer. I really hate thieves. Sad

Sorry to hear about your bike.

It seems that some really high tech expensive bikes are being targeted.  I sold my trek elite to a guy a couple of months ago and it was stolen off his balcony within a month. It was a yellow and black trek elite 8.9.

Good luck finding your bike.

Could you give us details on how it was stolen off the rack since it was locked?  Might help others avoid the same fate.  That sucks bro sorry to hear it.

I have Thule criterium roof racks. Never really thought about it much as the holder wrapped around my frame almost 80% around. There are white paint marks from them ripping it out off the rack so am am betting there is now frame damage too.

Have the Thule locks on the frame and it was locked so they pryed it out. Loaded bike at 530am, went made coffee, some email, folder laundry, went back to car and it was gone. About a 25minute window.

I am assuming it looked somthing like this:

Sorry for your loss:  hope its found in the end in some form,

Since you can speak from experience so far.  Have you contacted your insurance agency-  Car or home and will or do they offer any help / or coverage for this type of loss?

Any Pointers to help prevent other than Log Chains thru your bike?

Ouch!  You should really try to get your insurance to pony up (if you have some).
