Both Beatty and Sherman are listed as open, but I live close to Beatty and we got almost an inch of rain if not more and Finn's is reading that Sherman received almost an inch and a half.

Based on my yard, Beatty has to be pretty wet unless the storm just missed it.
The folks that got rained on during the Wednesday night group ride might be able to tell more detail as to how hard it rained there.

NM was a dust bowl yesterday, so the <10th of an inch of rain we got should make it nice and tacky today.

Thanks - if anything I might just hit N Meck after work for a couple laps.  I rode Sherman last week for the first time in a while and forgot how much fun that trail is.  I still have yet to ride RRT(?) in Concord but that is on my list to ride soon.  Probably not SS friendly though like NM and Sherman.   Shocked

Well, FJB was pretty dang bone dry last Thursday so even though there was rain in Matthews last night there's always a chance....

kind of a thread-jack, but RRT is great on the SS.  No name is tough, but it's tough period and at least with the single you get it over with.

Anyone know about BYT? It says closed but does anyone feel that it may dry out today? I live on the East side of Charlotte so not sure how hard BYT got hit.

Fisher Farm was as dry as a bone yesterday evening.  Barely got any rain last night at all.

This morning, my grass was wet, my garden dirt was dry.  Sad  Seems we have a local drought around Davidson.

Hit North Meck Park at lunch and it was still very dry in spots, decent in others.  Definitely enjoyable.

Does anyone know how accurate the WWC website is re: their trails?

RRT had 1/2" last night should be better than before it rained.

Yeah it's private property and I'm probably stupid but that's beside the point.

They are pretty quick and consistent in tweeting status changes.

BYT will stay closed today.  We will be out there late today and/or tomorrow morning checking conditions.  IF - no more rain, likely to open Saturday.  Keep an eye on the trail status page.  Thanks to all who honor the closure.

I'm opening BYT and PRP now.  The chains will stay up until I can get there at noon.   As normal, THT website status rules.

Rode this morning at Southview District Park. Trail was in great shape except for small fallen branches. No mud, no puddles, perfect conditions.
