2014 Biking Weather - Better or Worse Than 2013? (Read 791 times)

	So, kinda like the flu, that gets blown out of proportion by the media every year only to wind up being statistically no worse than prior years, what about our 2014 biking weather compared to 2013? It feels like trails here were wet until about June, yet when I think back a few years to guys heading to Cheraw to find dry places to ride, perhaps this is just our weather pattern. Oh, and it's raining outside again.

Oh, and it's raining outside again. I am pretty sure 2014 and 2014 have been close to the same. With that being said it has been much better than 2013. I actually had to break out my road bike last year. No one needed to see that.

	2014 has been way better than 2013. Last year was horrible.

	I heard the Old Farmer's Almanac predicts a wet, cold winter for our area.

	I agree with the masses, 2013 was a tough season to be a mountain biker.

	2013 was, by FAR, the worst riding year since I've been riding (2011). It took a long time to warm up in spring. Then when it did, it rained for 2 months. Not to mention, my "local" trail, Springs, didn't receive any love until late fall. It was a hot mess until then. This year has been awesome. And Springs is in the best shape since I've been riding
