Yes, it's really free and yes it works.

It is old, beige and built like a tank.  It has an ice maker but I have no idea if the ice maker works.  We never hooked it up.  

Dimensions:

66" H x 33" W x 27" D

I will help you load it but I won't transport it.  That's up to you. 

First come, first served.  I live in Mooresville close to Exit 33 on I77.

What a silly question.

Of course it does!  That was it's primary role along with storing frozen meat to be grilled while drinking said beer.

Very kind of you!  Lagunitas All Day IPA has been on my short list.  Running a half marathon on Oct 11th though so I've put a governor on the beer intake.  What kind of beer you drinking lately?  I'll need that info if I have to call on your services.
