I am planning a workday at LNSP Saturday, October 18th at 09:00 to 12:00. Meet at the Maintenance building and we will leave from there. The tool shed is there, so we can get tools before heading out.

COME ON OUT AND GIVE MIKE A HAND. HE DOESN'T ASK TOO OFTEN AND MOSTLY SINGLE-HANDEDLY KEEPS ALL THOSE MILES OF TRAIL IN GREAT SHAPE.

Second, I need to know if anyone is coming to the workday? If so, I will go early and sharpen some tools. It's been a while since they have been used and need some attention. I'm sharpening my tools at work tomorrow so I'll be ready.

Just got in from the garage sharpening all the tools, saws and filling up all gas tanks. Jim you still have my rogue hoe? I hope you get a good turn out! Keep up the good work Mike! Going to be a long weekend in the woods.

Right on WR! My wife is going to spend the weekend with her mom, so I'll have plenty of time to work in the woods. I hope to sneak in a ride also!

10 day forecast shows almost no rain, so if you ride LNSP a lot and have never swung a tool out there tomorrow is a good chance to help Mike out and still have plenty of chances to ride the next week or so. 

Preaching to the choir I know, but if everyone just sacrificed 1 ride per year at one of your favorite trails to do some maintenance folks like Mike could ride a little more.

Lots get excited building new trail, but maintenance is always needed over time, and it can be just as rewarding. 

Call a riding buddy and skip the ride to go help out at one of the work days this weekend Cool

That's right Ed. If you're planning to work, you don't have to skip your ride tomorrow, bring your bike and ride afterwards. The trails are open and I plan to ride in the afternoon.

What a turn out this morning! It was this old man and another older man. I sure did appreciate the help. We cleared drains and leaves from the Monbo Loop from the entrance to the first down hill section. David Rodden met me at 4:20, we rode all the old trails and I found two trees down. One on Hawk and one on the 2-way trail to Norwood Creek. I will get those early in the morning. Does anyone know of any others? Please post up if you did, so I can get those also.
