I have a CamelBak Mule and it feels like a Mule hanging on my neck after riding 20 plus miles.
I'm looking for something lighter that I can use on a 12 mile run or a 25 mile mountain bike ride. Any suggestions??? Thanks Cry Angry

camelbak has some nice 50oz packs that are light and streamlined.  I have one and it works well for riding.  Not sure about running.  I prefer bottles though, because you can't get that feeling of weight off your back completely.

For Running you can't beat the Salomon Advanced Skin Packs.  I have used one for long distance trail running and day hikes for the past 2 years.   Great packs well worth the money.

+1 on Deuter packs.  I have been using the Race EXP Air for a couple of years.

Thanks for the input.  I ordered a smaller one today so hopefully I will get it before the weekend.

I have a Lobo, used to have a Mule. Are used to fill the reservoir up with water and ice every ride but almost never drink everything. Now on a regular 10 to 15 mile ride I only fill it up halfway and still rarely finish all of the water. I have loved Camelback products ever since the late 80s. Hydrate or die!

I just ordered a camelback hydrobak for similar reasons.  Running the summer series races here I found there were not enough flat/open spaces to drink from a water bottle, but I definitely didn't need a 70oz pack.  I've had it out on a ride or two now and like it fine.  It does the job w/o being too bothersome.
