Does anyone on here happen to be a county building inspector or know one for Cabarrus County. I have some very unwanted construction going on next door to me and could not afford to purchase the land from the guy. Long story short I have about 4 acres up here but my house sits only 40ish feet from the property line. The guy who owns the 2 acres next to me is clearing the property to build a 40x60 metal eyesore. So I would like to make sure that this is inspected properly for setback and what-not off the property lines. I had a survey of my property done in August so I do have current records for the lot. Any help is much appreciated.

I would second that.  if you are in Cabarrus County jurisdiction then call their zoning department and they can verify setbacks
