Need to get rid of a lot of tools

All,
Need your opinion on this. I want to have a tool sale and I have so many misc tools that I do not want to post ones and twos on here but would like to offer it up to the community before I go public. I used to work in the industry from aerospace to turbine building. I no longer seek the "mechanic" path and have much stuff I no longer need and am just toting around. If it all sits to many more years it will just rust away. I have so many hand tools, some drills, impact sockets, maybe a couple air tools still, etc.....mainly a lot of hand tools. I would like to sell them so. Do I post up a "tool" garage sale on here and pick a weekend day to invite all over? Do I set up appointments for individuals to come by. Do i just offer it all up as a lot to a high bidder? I really need to move this stuff out of the garage. I didn't want to throw this up in the market place in case it violated any rules untill it was cleared by a moderator. Anyway any help is appreciated or am open to offers. Here is an example:

I can see a lot of standard in that box. What about metric goods? I could use some deep well sockets.

Tools - Hand and power are really the fastest Sellers at any Used or Yard sale.Besides Firearms

I can understand wanting to avoid the CL hustle...
I would recommend- taking sometime + some string or Zipties and grouping the tools into Like categories.

Bundles of wrenches and bundles of like sockets etc.

Perhaps have a private only garage sale (open to people on here) they come- Cash
Then the remainder -  Lump Sum- Craiglist it.

I need more wrenches and sockets like a lump on the head- but i appreciate quality (yes i say craftsman is quality ) as they sure dont bend / flex like HF Pittsburgh!

But a private sell day - Cash in your hand

+ or just Pawn Shop it!!!

I have a tool box full of tools that I need to sell including a set of deep well metric sockets. I think they are Mac or Matco.
