I am sad to report that a local conservation leader has passed away. Roy Alexander, Director for the Davidson Lands Conservancy passed away yesterday evening from an apparent heart attack.   Roy was a great conservationist in the Davidson area and helped conserve a lot of natural land in the including Fisher Farm Park and Abersham Park.

Never have I met a man so passionate about conserving our natural resources. He will sorely miss in the community.
