I was out blowing the middle 1/3 of the trail yesterday trying to see if I could sweat this flu bug out and I think that we will open the trail Sunday just to give it a little more time to dry. Their was running water in 2 places where the fields are still draining. The places where there is poo dirt that you ride on around the tracks was really soft and squishy from freeze/thaw. I have talked to 2 other people about leaving it closed till Sunday and they are in agreement with me. We will be doing some drain work with cedar logs and some machine work on some drains Sunday also. Might put in a jump or 2 while out and about. I will also be blowing off the front 1/3 while out. Stop by and say hello to us. Again thanks for not going out and riding till it dries a little more. I think that we will be adding a few more easier jumps along the trail to practice on before you jump the bigger ones. I think that the machine will also end up at PRP to fix the trail near the playground and also fix that landing ramp for that one jump. I just got off the phone with the plant manager talking about the greenway and the plans are 75% done except for the big bridge across to PRP. So it's coming along on schedule.
