Sir, if you want to blow leaves, let me know and I'll meet you there. Casey told me I could blow leaves, but just not when there were a lot of riders riding the trails. I use a rake most of the time. What would be the best day on the weekend, Sat. or Sun. to help with then trails? I have a little job this weekend for a friend to do, I'll do it on a day when no one wants to help on the trails. Let me know.
Mike.

Trail's open.  Less bitching.  More riding.

Asphalt. It would be mostly maintenance free. Would still provide a good workout with all the winding and climbing. Could be open in wet condition. After 20 or so years after it is all cracked up and turning into dirt, it will be available for future generations  Cool

Jason, if you ride Laurel today and see the tree on the trail, could you post the location with the red sign number so I can go right to it. Have a great ride and wish I could join you.

Did you happen to ride Laurel today? If you did, was there a tree down on the trail? I'll get the one on Monbo, Fallstown and ride to find the one on Laurel in the morning.

I rode Laurel and Wildlife loop today and didn't see a tree down. It was muddier than I thought. Hopefully later today dried it up a little.

Mike.  Tree was down a little before marker 35 on Laurel.  Me and Emily moved it off the trail today.  Its clear now.  Don't waste your time looking for it.

Rode out at Kerr Scott yesterday. Warrior Creek was muddy and treacherous, so we moved over to OVT. Ovt was good untill the sun appeared. In the end ,the park staff ended up closing Warrior and OVT, But keeping Dark Mountain opened . Lake Norman State park should lern a lesson or two from Kerr Scott. Sometimes it's just not necessary to keep all loops closed  Wink

Thanks goes out to Emily for helping Tom move the tree on Laurel yesterday. I cleared that section today and saw the bark all over the trail.

Not that I'm aware of.  NCDENR said that's all we get and honestly why would you need more than that?

Most people can't ride all of it at one time anyway and the annual reversal practically doubles the mileage. Smiley
