It's now less than two weeks away.  An event like no other.  A multi-stage race, a social ride, beer, pizza... places you ain't never been to before without even leaving the county.

It's always fun.  It's always cheap.

Prizes flow like a champagne fountain.

register here: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

$35 to race.  $20 if you wanna roll with the party and enjoy EVERYTHING except being a racer person.

After party FOR ALL.  For more info, visit our Facebook page: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Just a quick update.

Preregistration ends tomorrow at midnight.  Day of the race, fees go up $10.

Just got word that Monster Crux will be performing LIVE at the after party.

Yes, after party with beer and food and some organized goofing off and MUSICAL TALENT.

Yes.

Except for Joe T.

(if you want to enjoy the food and beer and such, it's $20... assuming you can hold your beer and pizza, you'll make out just fine)

I don't get it. When I'm solo all the cars want to kill me but when I'm with 130 of my closest friends the cars are are all stoked.

Fun event no doubt.

So if you dontbjave a buddy you can't ride? Also, such a small parking.. Some will bike there..where are others parking? Any idea on route or is this a secret to be revealed at the race/event?

I wouldn't worry about the buddy, last year they'd set you up with another straggler there. Liability deal to make sure no one gets left behind Or left in a ditch somewhere.

Yeah the parking looks like it might be an issue, I'm sure We'll figure something out though. Last year they had a sponsor that set them up with a pretty sweet deal out of the Savvanah Mill which wasn't an option this year. Speaking of which here's some drone footage of the party pacing part: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

As for the course I'm pretty sure they keep it under wraps - There was a surprise stage last year. But here's the 2015 course for a feel of what you're in for. (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Yeah you should be good for party pacing, might actually be convenient considering there will be quite a few road miles between stages. There will be some off road bits so if they're narrow road tires you might have an issue but I'm thinking you'll be good if you have the imaginary tires I've made up in my head.

I'm pretty sure it's just men's and women's.

All above is the true true.  You could ride the party pace on a road bike, but you'd enjoy the experience much more on a MTB.

The three categories are men, women and party pace... which doesn't do any of the race segments, but will see some "trail."
