I heard something about the trails being partially closed or something?  I'm thinking of taking a ride over there tomorrow - since I couldn't today...What's the latest over there?

I rode out there yesterday and nothing was closed that I saw. There has been a recent controlled burn on the Dutchman's Creek side which included Woodrun Trail but it was open. There were a few soft spots but overall in decent shape...unlike me. Man, I gotta get on the bike more!

Just finished a ride out there and the trail is in great shape.  The "burn" didnt do anything to the trail other than make it a cool looking ribbon of trail through the charred section.  Anyone know how that works?  How did sections of the trail not get a mark?  There were even some sections of trail that had some significant organic matter on them, but it didnt burn at all.

Still a few soft sections mostly between the 2 creeks, but overall good stuff.

It was fine.  Pretty solid if you stay in the bike tracks.  I assume you're referring to where they graded it.
