I have been dealing with patellar tendonitis for over two years now and am looking to seek the services of a physical therapist in the Salisbury/Concord area.  Does anyone know any PT's in this area that have cycling experience?  I've been to a PT here in Salisbury, but he honestly is not used to working w/ athletes and more used to working w/ elderly or over-weight people.  I'm soon ready to throw in the towel if I can't have some permanent results...  Anyone have any recommendations?

There is an excellent therapist in the Southpark area.  Works only with athletes.  If interested I will give you contact info.

If you run out of options in your area. Architect sports and physical therapy in Ballantyne and Indian trail. I was very pleased with them. They cater to professional and amateur athletes as well as post surgery therapy for any age.

Dr. Robert McBride w/Ortho Carolina at the University location.   He specializes in sports medicine, along w/knee and hip stuff, but he did a great job diagnosing and remedying an ankle issue I have.   There are other talented doctors at that location that specialize in sports medicine and also foot/ankle issues too.  It might be worth checking out their website.  Their doctors are listed along with their specialties.

We've got some great PTs in our group at Carolina neurosurgery and spine in concord. Just across from CMC northeast. We also do PRP regenerarive therapy for chronic tendon pain. PM for more info.
