Some folks that like to ride bikes, build trail and give back to their community.  That's what is sounds like Smiley Luis has come to the last couple Trailblazers meetings.

I'm just happy they plan to put in an inline skating rink. I hope it's like this one:

I think I remember a few years back Single Track Sesh and Dirtclump trying to get these trails going; not sure if they are the ones working on it now.  The funny thing is that my 83 yr old mother read this article and asked me tonight if I knew anything about trails in Ballantyne, and I said "there are no legal trails in Ballantyne that I know of".

I used to ride; now I just drink and cry about not riding.

Settle down! You trail hungry people. Trails are still rough and the deal is a work in progress.

We'll keep you guys updated.

Charlotte Mtbers are one of the nicest mtb groups in charlotte. Great group and hard workers.
Didnt We (thrb) have to start somewhere? Doesnt have to be hate or bashing, especially when they are/love mtbing just like us.
Honestly we should be telling the clt mtbers good job, and the trails been there for 15 years and always been legal trail.

Took my girlfriend on those trails the other day and their was alot of people out there. Very beautiful place. Im glad clt mtber worked hard to preserve this place.

We are actually working with them to make this an official/legit trail. We have been talking with P&R to figure out what part of the property we will be allowed to develop. They are a very passionate group of volunteers and I'm proud to call them fellow THTB club members. Smiley
