You hit the nail on the head when you said spread the word! We will also be doing some grant writing and soliciting donations from corporate sponsors. Every little bit helps. We are going to do this thing right and have it professionally built & that doesn't come cheap!

Put a donation box in front of the trail along with a sign outlining where the funds are going.   I'd bet you'll get more that you would think.

Of course someone will need to come and pick up the jack every day before the park closes.

It's a good idea but I think the donation box would be problematic. I may put up a sign with directions to our online fundraising side however at the trailhead. Great idea!

Which park are you volunteering to go by daily and do the pick ups Robert?

We are looking into an "Iron Ranger" like the USFS uses for fee deposit.
