Just curious, what will we be using the trailer to do?

I think he meant "trail" not "trailer". Smiley

Hey everone I'm bumping this because we still need your support to make it happen. I am pursuing corporate sponsorships but they are going to want to see community interest please consider donating this amenity! If you already have thank you!!!

Can we please have Mark or an administrator place this topic at the top of Trail Talk or Down & Dirty so it is always visable at the top?

A prominent place/link on the home page wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks. Jim

Jim, I'll have Jerry sticky it to the top.  And thanks for the generous donation!  Smiley

Thank you Jim! Glad to see you're not holding a grudge against old lady Beatty. Hope you are healing well!

Beatty needs big dirt jumps and gap jumps over the creek and more downhill lines.  If this pump/flow trail could also have some big jumps, that would be great.  I would be glad to help build more black Beatty lines.

That's probably not going to happen. Just not the niche this trail occupies. Beatty is more of a gateway trail. That being said, there will be some bigger jumps available on the pump trail for skilled riders who know how to find them.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on the pump trail to see what develops.  Any suggestions for where I can find that kind of jumpline riding around Charlotte or nearby.  Is that photo of you one taken at UNCC Yellow Jacket / Fruit Trails?  I haven't been out there but would appreciate it if someone could provide some directions so I know where to park and how to access the trail.

Thanks for your interest. That pic was taken on the big bermtha feature at the old stuntersville trail. I haven't been out to uncc in ages and I think the parking situation has changed since I was there last so I can weigh in on that. I'm certain there are others here on the forum can. Those trails exist in a bit of a gray area in terms of their legal status so p.m. would probably be best. Good luck.

I'm officially pumped about the upcoming pump and flow trail. Santa came early.  I am way out of the typical demographic for the P.3 but who cares.  Let the re-training begin.  Is the 2018 plan/schedule for Beatty beginning to take shape yet?

Nice! Goal is still to build this spring. But we are currently in the "wait" part of "hurry up and wait" that comes with dealing with the government for grant funding.

What is another example of a world class pump track and how does it compare to the one planned at Beatty.

The pump track is built. Currently closed due to Flo, will open later in the week. It is accessed via the tennis/basketball court parking lot. ETD did a fantastic job and it's a lot of fun.

Mods, we can probably unsticky this.

If you read through the project, loop one was built. Jump lines have not yet been built and we are seeking funding for those.
