Liberty Bikes in Asheville used to rent a house in Bent Creek area to cyclists.

also, may want to check with BikerMedic, he used to rent a log cabin in Brevard (5 min to Dupont and 12 min to pisgah).

We stayed there for PMBAR, nice place but not ideal for a large group.  There's 2 queens, a futon, and a couch.
