What do you guys know about these trails?

I have been out to Sally's YMCA and the trail is not complete but works two ways and is a lot of fun...about, what? 3-4 miles in length I'd say and you can extend it to 6.  Very fast flow.  I don't think you Tarheel Trailblazers did the trail, but doesn't mean we can't ride it.

any thoughts on it?

It is part of the Carolina Thread Trail.  You are correct that Tarheel TrailBlazers had nothing to do with the build.   However, it is open to mountain bikers.   There are several others miles open their 15 county area.  Long term plans call for over 1,000 miles of trail, lots of it being natural surface single track & open to bikes.
