Looking for a rental near Matthews to rent for Aug

I have family looking to rent a place for the month of August. They are an older/mature couple who are entirely responsible and looking for a short term rental, for just the two of them.   
Does any one have property they would rent out for the month? Preferably near Matthews or in the Arboretum area. Possibly anyone leaving town for the month and want to make some money on their place while away?   

Let me know if you need more info, but I'd appreciate any help.

They've looked through VRBO and didn't find anything reasonable. 
I realize this is a long shot, but I thought I'd check. 

Another option is someplace open for a majority of the month.

also try Air B&B. my neighbors list there, but they're just off Seneca.

It also wouldn't hurt to contact any VBRO or Air BNB persons and tell them the situation.  Being a Months rent - they could be alot more reasonable vs a daily / Weekly rate. and MUCH less day to day management of the property with cleanings and such for the renter too.


Doesn't hurt to ask.

I should probably post this in the Market Place as well, but it occurred to me that part of the reason they are staying for the month, is to look for a condo/townhome/small home to buy in the area.   

If anyone has a place they are looking to sell, I'd like to hear about that as well.

Agree with the above.  You can often negotiate with listing owners on VRBO

I travel a lot for my work and use airbnb and vrbo a few times a month.  For longer terms Ive found that owners will almost always negotiate
