We'll work this Saturday 6/6 and then 6/13 before we take the summer off. One bridge 99% complete due to dying battery last time, and other bridge has the hard stuff out of the way with stringers and most of the hand rail work for the kiddies. Everything ready to ride once bridges in place. Once complete you can hit a few laps on your way to and from North Meck and/or Crafty's.

Wear long pants if you come out due to poison ivy off side of trail. More Roundup PI to be applied, which I'm still trying to figure out if it's really that much better than regular Roundup.

One gear really is enough..but my knees have forced me to go 1x10.

Last official workday of the season this Saturday 6/13 other than some one offs finishing up bridges. A lot of the work will be final scraping with McLeods and maybe creating a little more dirt cache for entrance/exits of bridges.

I'll post up something once the last bridge is done and the entire trail ready to ride.

School trail ready to ride in case anyone interested. Thanks to Cyclepath and Tom F for finishing up the woodwork part of the bridges while I was drinking beer at the beach. Dirt for entrance and exits completed today.

Take it easy on the entrance to the bridges first go around. A bit narrow with those pesky hand rails we had to add, but I still have about 5 inches on either side of my big wide cow horn bar. Kids handle bars should have big wide berth.

Signage and kiosk won't happen until school back in session. Trail entrance located in right field of ball field longest distance from school. Trail designed for bikes counter clockwise and people clockwise.

What's the final distance? Might take our kids there one day soon.

I think around 1.2 miles, very similar distance to Jetton Park. Need to get someone out there that has a computer on their bike.

Two folks rode trail this weekend, one got a little under a mile, one around 1.2, so a mile-ish. Narrow bridges with handrails are just fine, no issues with my big wide bars. Trail isn't exactly the most flowy due to what I had to do with 15-17 acres and a good bit of elevation. It's tight twisty but still has some faster flow sections.

I rode 3 laps last night and I must say, those spiders sure can build their webs back fast. I had spiders on me every lap! It was a fun trail with some good climbing to be so short. Good job, Ed!!
