I want to paint and repaint cranks, levers, bars etc.  Any advice?

Paint on cranks will likely wear off very fast due to shoe rub and rock strikes.  I've spray painted bars with pretty good success, although never tried levers.

Assuming all is aluminum you might be able to find a local place who does anodizing, depending on your budget or willingness to even spend money on painting.

Gonna do my best then cover the outside with Crank Skins and rubber boot.
