Trail opening time @ WWC?

Hey I was looking to hit WWC for the first time, however never bothered before as I was told the trails don't open till late morning.  Then I was told otherwise.  My only window to ride is early in the am.  Can anyone confirm what time I can access the trail on the wknds?

I've been there as early as sun rise and drove right in. They will have a "security guard" that works the over night there but he just checks the pass. I assume he would be more than willing to sell you a day pass. (edit: day parking pass if this wasn't clear)

As far as the late morning thing goes, I know they wait till late morning to update the web site to say if the trails are open or closed but if it was open the day before and there was no rain, they are open.

sun up to sundown was what i always went by, unless you need a pass for bike rentals.  if that's the case you have to wait for the ticket office to open.
