We will be cutting the middle 1/3 back this Saturday if you would like to help us out we could use it. Thanks Rocky for helping out. We only have 2 weedeaters and if you have one and would like to help please post up. We will go in on the wensley dead end and return back to the same place. We will not be cutting posion ivy. Well some will be cut but not much at all.  Just stuff calf high and face slappers. If you are allergic to it don't even think about it. Required clothing long pants, long sleeved shirt, hat, gloves, boots, safety glasses and lots of water. I will supply gas and trimmer line and bug spray. We will be starting around 8 to beat the heat and will not stop for anyone unless we need gas or line. I will have earbuds on and will not be messing around. Going to get hot really quick. The front 1/3 was cut back Monday it took 4.5 hours and 4 tanks of gas. Then on to the back 1/3 and then the MD side both at another date. I hope that some of you who ride the trail will come out and lend a hand. Thanks David for helping Doug with PRP. On a side note please go out and help your trail coordinators where you spend most of your riding time. We ALL can use the help in the summertime. It gives us more time to work on new stuff like a small jump park such as the one we are working on right now. Thanks to those of you who help when you can. Even picking up sticks and trash helps.

Rocky and I cut back the middle 1/3. Took 5.5 hours with 2 of us. We left most of the posion ivy just too much to deal with. We both ran into ground hives and a swarm of hornets. Rocky got pegged 4 or 5 times I got 2 in the hand 2 in the elbow 1 in the back of the neck and 2 in the ribs 1 on the knee!! Little bastards!!! My left arm and hand are all swolt up. We will get across the service road soon. Please come out and lend a hand if we had 2 more people with weedeaters it would cut our time way way down. By the way it was pretty dam hot with full gear on and running out of water sucks!! Thanks again Rocky! To much to do all on my own. You trail coordinators that have no undergrowth to deal with have it made! Will post up for next workday.
