Anyone interested in riding most if not all of LNSP? Either day would work as long as i get i planned early enough.  I would love to go early as to not die in 100+ degree temps.

Lets get this goin'

I'll be there both days. Just a reminder- ALL TRAILS AT LNSP START AT THE UPPER SIDE OF THE PARKING LOT. Please stay off the new asphalt trail at the lower end of the parking lot. It is for hiking only. Also, please do not change the trail to your riding ability. Stay on the trail as it was laid out.

I would like to join this ride depending on when. Early works for me, not really enjoyable in the afternoon heat. Lemme know.

I'm camping there with some folks. Will be riding all weekend... Monbo Saturday morning with some newbies and then Laurel/Wildlife Sunday morning.

Kayaking in the afternoon when it's HOT HOT HOT.

PM if you are looking for riding buddies.

Lets get a feel for all going to LNSP tomorrow morning. I would like to meet in the lot at 7 and get rolling ASAP after that. Post up here if you are going and ill wait a reasonable amount of time for you.  it is over an hour drive for me too, but gotta be ready.

@BigBikeMike or anyone else that knows.  I have not been there in a while, can i not park in the lot that is 3 rows big (maybe bigger) and is in the middle of the trail system?

I think KAWASAKIMX6 is referring to the lots at the new Visitors Center. Yes you can park there.

Yes, the parking lot is completely open, all 3 levels. All trails start at the kiosk side of the parking lot also. Look closely and you'll see the 2 way trail to Laurel and Wildlife. The signs have been ordered, but not up yet.

I've been waffling because of the distance (nearly an hour and a half) and the heat. But I haven't ridden LNSP since 2010 not long after the Laurel Loop opened. There's a lot of trail I've never seen, plus I've been wanting to drive up and ride the whole system anyway.

I decided to go ahead and join in. To clarify, we ARE talking about tomorrow...Saturday? If they got any of the storms up there, how early will we know if they close the trail?

UPDATE: Looks like I may have gotten my answer...trail closed.

What are the chances it opens in the morning?  I am moving the ride to URE if it does not open.  TOMORROW MORNING.
