I wonder if you practiced if it would become second nature?

I can see using it on a road bike.  Like most things it seems to be a solution to a problem that nobody has.

After you use it awhile, I would imagine it would become second nature, like clipping in to pedals.

Lets see, must use their bottle, be hard to put in place on a mtn bike while bouncing around, no mention of it being secure on those mounts so it might bounce out on rough trail sections. No thanks, might be a good idea for a gram counting roady. I'll keep my cage that can take most bottles and that I can get my bottle out and put It back with out looking.

Government has no reason to use common sense or be efficient as it pays no price for failure.

This might work well when I want to carry two bottles on my full suspension.  Can only fit one bottle in the triangle due to suspension.  The second mount is forward mount on the downtube.  I hate the look of an empty cage being there when I don't need the bottle capacity.  This way only the studs.  Of course i could always use a camelback.

First time I hit a road/bridge transition around here on my road bike, that bottle would be long gone.  I have bottles fall out of full cages.
