BYT 1.25 inches of rain.

Just got off the phone with the plant night manager and he said their rain gauge measured 1.25 inches of rain in a little over an hour so we have decided to close it for 24 hours. The gauge is located inside their facility. With such dry soil/poo dirt it should suck it up pretty fast. Bob is going to put chains up in the morning. He also said they had pretty good winds so expect trees and branches and such to be down. Please let me know if you see any down if you go out when trails reopen Friday. I will get them when I can. I twisted my ankle pretty good and wont be able to get to them for a little while. While you are out feel free to pull off the trail what you can let me know where trees might be down and I or we will get to them when we can.

Closing the other side of the service road for a little while. There are several trees down and part of the trail is going to have to be rerouted. 2 big trees fell on one another and just easier to reroute the trail. Where they are the greenway is going in. So no use in spending that much time cutting them up to save the trail. Besides it's just to dam hot to fool with it. Couple of other trees down also will get to them at some point. While you are out riding please pick up sticks the drivetrain you save could be yours or someone else's. Other trees down here and there then 2 down on the MD side and PRP was spared. Thanks Bob for picking up sticks and telling me where trees are down. We will get to them when we can. If any of you would like to borrow a weedeater or 2 to help cut back the trail across the service road I will be glad to loan them to you along with gas and trimmer line and encouragement.
